Here is the schedule for the weekend activities:
Flag Planting Sat May 25 2019, 8:30am – 12:00pm
- Meeting spot is the Forest Glen Cemetery (Pearl St & Forest Glen Rd) to start placing flags and flowers.
- Class B uniforms are acceptable. Bring water, simple snack, and sunscreen for your Scout or siblings. Again, bring water.
- This goes to around noon, but it’s a soft end time.
Memorial Day Parade, Mon May 27 2019, 8:30am – 10:30am
- 8:30 AM line up directly in front of the Reading American Legion Post 37 Ash St. Reading, MA, next door to Christopher’s Restaurant. 9 AM Parade start, short parade walk to Laurel Hill for Memorial Event.
- Webelos will bear our Flags in the parade. All Scouts should be in Class A uniform, tucked in and looking sharp. Parents are welcome to walk with us if wearing Pack 735 Class B shirt (blue tee) or Brown Leader uniform. All Leaders should be in uniform, tucked in and looking sharp.
