Canobie Lake Promotion, Saturday, June 1, 2019
Any Scout in uniform from any official scouting program (Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Cubs/Brownies, etc.) may take advantage of a Buy 1 Get 1 FREE admission when purchasing their ticket at the Park on Scouts Day, June 1, 2019. At least one element of the uniform must be worn to qualify. May not be combined with any other special, discount or promotion
Pack Meeting- Advancements, June 14, 2019, at 7:00 pm – 8:15 pm
We return to our regular monthly meeting with details below. The Scouts will be achieving their next ranks.
Volunteers Needed! Town Friends & Family Day, June 15, 2019, at 11:00 am – 3:00 pm
The Friends of Reading Scouts needs adult assistance. Specifically, 2 adult volunteers from each Pack over 3 shifts (10:00/setup – 11:30; 11:30 to 1:30; 1:30 to 3:00/takedown. They are also hoping for more senior scouts aka Bears – Webelos 2’s)
Summer Programming
Here the planned events for the summer:
- Sat Jul 13, 2019, 9:00am – 11:30am (preliminary): Hike @ Mass Audubon’s Ipswich River Wildlife Sanctuary
- Sat Aug 3, 2019 – Sun Aug 4, 2019: New England Base Camp Overnight
- Sat Aug 17 2019, 9:00am – 10:30am: Rocket Launch!!!
