Once you’ve become an adult leader and have a solid overview of the BSA’s values-based program, one should begin training for a specific Scouting position through Leader Specific training. This training provides the specialized knowledge a new leader needs to assume a leadership role. Click here for more general information.
A lot of the online training is quick, and most of a learning plan can be completed in under an hour. Further, a lot of the training is mobile friendly, and BSA provides a MyScouting training app for iPhones & Androids (links below).
